The richness of this dish (without making you too full to eat dessert later), is one of the most alluring things about it, in my mind. I started making it more because it’s one of the most requested Italian dishes at home by my husband. Before him, I only made it a handful of times- now, I feel like I’ve tested and edited the recipe to a point where I finally feel I can share some of my top tips and secrets for making a great one every time.
